Windows 10 calendar desktop app

Is there such a thing?
I see widgets are no longer would love a calendar on desktop

Any advice?

I struggle to see the purposes of it. Right bottom corner? Otherwise no. I thought widgets died with Vista.

Would be nice to have an option for calendar though like on cellphone

He wants it integrated with the desktop similar to a Vista Widget.

Then try installing 8GadgetPack - https://8gadgetpack.net/ - it restores the Gadgets to Windows 7 / 8.x / 10.

But why? It integrates into the action center, pops up if needed, etc.

Yeah also don't really see point. Maybe ease of access. Some people still use sticky notes on their desktops.

Sticky notes is kind of broken, doesn't transfer across (virtual) screens. It's why I spent about 2 minutes making a GUI that can pin above everything with a text field to copy/paste from. Not sure why MS can't get it right.
