Windows 10 free upgrade to end soon

1) The upgrade was never "free" ;) - if you know what I mean.
2) $119 is way too much for this OS.
3) MS is still going to try other tricks to promote Win 10. This ain't over.
4) Windows 7 still commands a massive chunk of the market and people aren't budging from that.

Are ms still going to bother us with upgrade now.

This^

I for one are fed-up with being force-fed like a French duck. Can only wish this will end and I can relax the various gates I have in place.

Never planned to upgrade and never will. If it scratch an itch for you, very good. But 7 does what I want.

This. The sole reason for the "free" upgrade was to try avert another XP fiasco, where 200 000 000 people are still using a perfectly good OS, but it's not earning enough dosh to satisfy micro$oft's corporate greed, so they try force people to stop using it.

The software industry will soon realise that they're not special - when someone buys something, they expect it to work and work and work. Imagine a 1000 ton press supplier telling his customers they must stop using their products because they're 15 years old.

Was free for me and many people that joined the insider program at the time.

Yes, you didn't hand over any cash, but you are paying in other ways. ;)
Not least, you are now more of a productive advertising source for MS.

So tired of this stupid pop-up every single day asking me to upgrade. I don't want to as many of my programs won't work on Windows 10.

Would be nice if they get rid of the pop-up once the "free upgrade offer" expires.

None of those are valid reasons not to upgrade.
