I get them every now in then on the lock screen, link to install an app or game, total bs it's illicit advertising and even more irritating is its clickbait, it caught me the first time when I wasn't aware of what they were and then some stupid app store install page pops up.

I don't log into any microsoft account, so it might (for me) be because of this:

The experience of ads is minimised when one signs in as a local user vs a Microsoft account user, right?
