windows 10 - locked out

The whole drive? Surely only the Windows login. The computer was assembled, therefore it can be disassembled. The HDD and battery are always reasonably accessible since they are the most likely to fail

I don't know if this still works but I used to boot a live version of Fedora off a memory stick to access and copy Windows files from pc's which I did not have the login details.
