Windows 10 Mobile Anniversary Update?

You need to fake your phone into thinking its a 640xl it seems, registry editing etc. Long story short, get a new phone if you don't like fiddling
 
After OS 1511, my Lumia 830 updated again a couple of days ago to OS version 1607, build 10.0.14393.67

Downloaded Tuesday evening. Looks and works well.
After the update finding the display text larger go to Settings/Ease of Access/More options/Visual options/Text scaling adjusting to your taste.

There is scaling issues on the older devices with the win10AU. the 950's have no drama though... also why wait so long, insiders had this for quite a while :P
 
Cortana finally understands me when I say "Yes" on setting a reminder (phone and laptop), I've tried it previously in any conceivable accent possible, but to no avail :whistle: The syncing of notifications between devices is also really helpful, especially when receiving a confirmation code via SMS, just pick it off the laptop.
 
I did not have problem on my 950 except for Outlook Mail app notification, all resolved after reset etc.
What is missing with this update is the Bing image on the search page. Anyone else seeing the same issue. Still functions without an image.
