I need a bit of help and cannot seem to find anything specific to my issue.

I did an install of Windows 10 Pro x64 to my friends computer, not taking note of the language when downloading the torrent, so instead of me re-downloading and English version, i continued using a translator and then manually changed the language. The thing is now, every time Windows does an update it tends to revert to Portuguese instead of the Language I installed and chose. I then downloaded an English copy of Windows and the Portuguese still. appeared in installation and I cannot seem to get it to revert back or even give me the option to choose English on the installation. Is there anything I can do to change this, as the copy I have now is English but it doesn't pick up when trying to do a fresh install?

Download the official media from Microsoft and make a bootable USB or DVD.

Performing the installation within Windows (even if you select clean install) is going to keep resulting in the same issue.

Backing up and quick formatting the drive during the Windows install is also advisable.

From torrents you say?

Now just download the English .srt as well and you're golden and good to go...
