... and now it restarts at various times almost like a sleep mode when not in use.

still need to install all my driver if i can ever figure out how to actually do that :(

Win 10 should install all the drivers for you. The ones you are missing I suggest you try the win8.1 drivers from the manufacturers site.
 
I am currently running on Windows 7 Home Premium (64-Bit) on my main computer. After reading the article regarding upgrade details, it seems I will be upgraded to Windows 10 Home... I want to have Windows 10 Pro.

I currently have a Windows 8.1 Pro License Key which I have not used yet. Would it be worth upgrading my main laptop to Windows 8.1 Pro and then upgrading to Windows 10 Pro, when Windows 10 is released?
 
If you have a retail version of Win 7 will you get a retail licence of Win 10?

I also want to know this. Will my W7 license keys be upgraded to both a W7 and W10 license key in case I want a fresh install? Same for my W8.1 machines.
Something useful for rpm to get an article about.

If you on windows 10 preview, will it update to the release version in July?
 
Enjoying 10130 on my office desktop. Had to manually install the nVidia drivers for the 650Ti to support 5 monitors, but easily done.

My only ongoing irritation with Win10 is the change in OneDrive - no placeholders a la Win8.1, so my personal 300GB on OneDrive stays Online Only.
 
Minor but annoying issue: I can't change the colours of the title bars. On Win 8.1 I have set them to be very dark grey. Most of my desktop is quite dark, as I spend a lot of time in front of my laptop. The light grey title bars are quite harsh on a dark desktop. In windows 7 my aero theme was set to a black colour as well.
 
I was planning on upgrading my laptop to Windows 8.1 Pro, from Windows 7, but it looks like all my programs will be uninstalled :(
 
Well now that the release date for Windows 10 will soon be upon us, our company has instructed us to start looking at updating our install image from 7 to 10. Good times yeah!!!
 
I installed Windows 10 Build 10130 on my spare laptop... Issues with the start menu and Cortana are gone :)

I wonder if I can still upgrade to Windows 10, if I format my hard drive and install a fresh copy of Windows 10?
 
Started noticing the error appearing more :( And I use this spare to read my ebooks :(
