Windows 2003 SBS Hardware?

Pity you don't have a good alternative for Exchange - file sharing/windows domain controller works quite well in Linux with no per-user licences.

Kerio Mail Server will run on Linux, even Windows XP for that matter, and it supports all of the Exchange Groupware functionality.

Go with Exchange as its an industry standard mail app.Exchange only becomes difficult to manage if you dont have have a good understanding of Exchange + AD + DNS.If put in the right hands its very stable.Corporates would'nt use exchange if it was unstable

understanding Exchange+ AD + DNS is expensive and overcomplicated.

Kerio is very very simple and MAKES SENSE, unlike AD.

Kerio is a Mail server while AD is a LDAP.You cant compare two products that are different

My point exactly, you don't need a AD for kerio to function.

It's like giving you car a complete overhaul when you want to top-up the oil.
