Interesting scenario with this combination on my notebook.

I use a 32GB PhotoFast CF card permanently installed in a Delkin PCMCIA Cardbus32 UDMA CF Reader, as scratch space, etc. It is pretty fast, about 50MB/s read, and just a little slower write speed. Sort of like a SSD Drive.

Under Vista32 :
- Readyboost would not work on this drive
- I could use it as a Photoshop CS4 scratch drive.

Under Windows 7 32 bit :
- Readyboost works on this drive.
- Photoshop CS4 won't allow it to be used as a scratch drive.

Now it's nice that I can use it as a Readyboost drive, but I really want to use it as a CS4 scratch drive (BTW, CameraRaw and Bridge accept it as a scratch drive).

Clearly the way that this drive is presented to CS4 by Windows 7 is a problem. Are there any registry settings, or suchlike, that one can change to influence this ?
