Has anyone managed to install the modem that comes with prepaid on a Windows 7 64bit OS? (The modem looks like a little walkie-talkie with a hinged USB connector at the bottom.)
Am trying to help a friend install this, but the process does not work. (I have installed various IBurst modems many times over the past 5 years so should know what I am doing).
I could not read the install CD below the root directory. Could see all folders on a XP machine. Is it possible Win7 64-bit and the CD are somehow incompatible?
Yes - I DID try Iburst support, but it was ineffective and pathetic beyond belief. This service has deteriorated so much in the past year that I don't usually bother anymore. This forum is the only place for support.
Jannie - what have you done to Iburst? Been with Iburst since Dec 2004, its never been anywhere near to perfect, but it has been tolerable. Now interaction with the company is intolerable. I advise people to stay away from Iburst where possible. (Sorry bout that rant - I liked Iburst in the same way you love a naughty child. Now the older child is on drugs, can't keep a job, is unreliable, filches money and it makes a parent very sad indeed) :-(
