Having a bit of a dilemma, I upgraded to Win7 64bit but now it seems to tell me that I have no audio device no matter what I try.

It was working just fine on 32bit ,but 64bit refuses to see it. My pc specs are as follows:

Foxconn g45m Motherboard
Core2Duo E8400 @3ghz
6gb DDR2 RAM
Nvidia GeForce GTS250 1gb

I tried running windows update...it picked up a realtek audio driver , installed it,restarted....did nothing. Then went onto the Foxconn website downloaded the exact driver for my Mobo, being the Realtek R233 32/64bit win 7 g45m driver....NOTHING. In device manager it doesnt show anything about the audio chipset, the only suspect part is "Other Devices>Unknown Device"

Help?

In device manager on the 'unknown device', right-click it and select properties. Go to the 'Details' tab and select 'Hardware Ids' from the dropdown. This gives you the hardware ID and vendor ID of the device, should look something like: [HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_11D4&DEV_1882&SUBSYS_80861003]
Try entering this into Google and you might have luck finding a different, working driver.
