Windows 7 and E220 Connection Problems

2) Time of issue: started yesterday morning (13 Oct 2009) and still the same
3) Device: Data Usb Modem E220
4) Contract Type: Pre-paid
5) Existing reference numbers:None
6) speed.vodacom.co.za results (if possible): NOT POSSIBLE

I am operating on Windows 7 and it will just say am not on the Vodacom Networ when i try to connectk,however on my Xp machine its connect,i am really twisted

A few questions: What version of Windows 7 do you have? 32 or 64bit. What version of VMC are you using on your E220?

Version 9.4 of VMC Lite works fine on my E220 modem on Windows 7 64-bit 7100. Had a problem with version 9.3 though. I also flashed the E220 with the latest firmware and loaded the modem with v9.4 software.

So the new VMC version 9.4 works on Windows 7?

I see the new full version (VMC 9.4.3.15494) available on the Vodacom website - http://www.vodacom.co.za/services/vodacom_broadband/downloads.jsp

I must try this on my Win7 machine and see if it works.

Obviously make sure you choose the vista one though.

it works very nice cannot complain at all she nice
