Windows 7 and Syncing with WM6.1

I used to sync all my contacts, calanders etc from my Samsung i780 to Outlook via Active Sync.

I've now got Windows Live ... I'm guessing that's the end of my syncing? :/

Maybe theyll make a Windows 7 Mobile ....

EDIT : I see there are rumours of a Windows Mobile 7!

Well, just install Windows Mobile Device Centre and setup a partnership. That will solve all your issues. I have been sync'ing my phone since January with Windows 7 without any issues.

Sorry - didn't reply or play around, this I got my issue fixed on XP rather. So trying the W7 route again ....

... and from what I've read, you need Outlook 2002, 2003 or 2007 - none of which can be downloaded? So basically in order to sync, I need to purchase both W7 and Office?

No, you don't need Office to sync, as if you don't have it, the phone can sync normal Windows Contacts I believe.

All you need is Windows Mobile Device Center, which will sort out the connectivity part at least.
