I have been a PC running Windows 7 that displays a testing message in the bottom right corner. The message is: Windows 7 For testing purposes only. Build 7601

I would like to remove it!

Searching the Internet, results indicate that I must run the following from the cmd prompt.

bcdedit.exe -set loadoptions ENABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING OFF

But I must run the cmd prompt in administrator mode.
To do this I went: Start, All Programs, Accessories. Then right click "Command Prompt" and clicked "Run As administrator"

The message still will not go away!

How do I get rid of it?

Many thanks

It's possible that you have a rootkit virus that keeps enabling it, what AV do you use?

You are using drivers that are not digitally signed by Microsoft.

On the Command Prompt type in the command “Bcdedit.exe /set nointegritychecks ON” without the quotes.

AND

"Bcdedit.exe -set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS"
"Bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING ON"

Restart your PC, should it still not be working, try this:

gpedit.msc
ENABLE the option for code signed drivers at:
User Config/Admin Templ./System/Driver installation
Set to "Ignore"

RESTART

Use at your own discretion

Should it still not be working, then everyone above was right...

I have been a PC running Windows 7
Well, there's your problem, you are dead. You were ("I have been").

-or-

You are trying to be sentient and your user does not want to allow this. Get a new user or comply with the input from the current user.

Sorry, could not resist!
:D
