Hi all.

Would like to know if Windows 7 operating system can be downloaded from the internet ( The full version) not trials versions !

Anyone know of the best site to download from?

Would like to help out a friend who needs to re-install windows and cannot afford to purchase it.

All responses and comments are appreciated. Thanks in advance.
 
If you need to re-install Windows on a computer that is licensed for Windows, use the links from earlier in this thread to install it without paying for another copy. If the computer is unlicensed, then I recommend buying Windows 8, since Windows 7 is very difficult to get hold of. I bought Windows 8.1 Pro from G2A.com this past weekend for R300.

Im 100% sure if you already own it, you can legally crack it.

I don't think MyBB will smile if we start peddling warez on the forum. Go opensource if he can't afford windows. Steam for Linux has a growing list of games if that is a factor.

You are 100% wrong. You licence the software, not buy it. Which means you can't just crack it even if you paid for it. Here's an excerpt from the Windows 7 EULA:

"You are not permitted to bypass or circumvent activation."

There are 100% legit download links for the genuine Windows 7 iso images as provided above. If you have a existing license key you are good to go. It's not warez.
 
Seriously, we know OP wanted a pirated copy as his friend can't afford to purchase Windows 7. This thread should be locked.

I wasn't talking about a iso download, i was talking about the OP requesting warez.

Its not expensive, if cant afford it, then he cant afford to pay internet connection costs.

Suck it up and pay the one-off cost of getting a legal copy.

If cant afford Windows, run Linux as suggested. All your documents are still shareable with Windows users.
 
Assuming the reinstall is from a legit copy then you can grab the product key before you format from the reg or from a sticker on the box. Then use one of the links above. You could also just use a disk to do a repair of the OS if the issue isn't to serious. Otherwise you could get the original disk and then look around on teh internet for something to crack it...but mybb can't help you with that.

If you do a OEM SLP activation or use the COA, then you can legally re-install and activate Windows 7 without paying. Because you didn't pay for Windows doesn't automatically mean you are a pirate. However, if the OP's friend's machine never had a legal version of Windows on it previously, then he can look for help elsewhere.
