Windows Defender flags uTorrent as threat

Got tixati after seeing reading comments here, however cant figure out how to switch on a time specific scheduler. I only see scheduling by days.

Just go to the Scheduler Tab, Click new and make two new actions, one to Start Xfers and one to Stop Xfers.

But seriously, with streaming available, direct download services, it's pretty pointless torrenting

I mostly agree.

There however still remains a few things that can't be streamed due to stupid region locks or a lack of offering.

Most use a vpn or DNS service when torrenting any ways, region locks is a poor ecxuse, yes there are certainly niche stuff available that isn't available else where, specially much older stuff. If your excuse is I really need to watch next weeks episode of Australian TV show neighbors, torrenting is the least of your problems. Besides with Terrarium TV as an example you can pretty much stay up to date with the latest happenings of neighbors as an example.

I have never used torrents, and still managed to find whatever I needed or wanted, and with direct downloads you can pretty much more or less get things at the same time, or within a couple of hours.

Terrarium uses Torrents doesn’t it? So then you have used it.

But my point was that I’m not willing to jump through hoops to avoid region locks and procure “legal” content. If they don’t want to sell it to me directly then I’ll torrent it (or use any other means necessary).

The comment was about procuring content not so much about torrenting as a protocol.

Clearly you didn't get your weekly neighbors fix :p

I actually watch very little TV.

And most of the time it’s on Netflix and/or Amazon Prime anyway.

Would prefer it on Apple TV for the rest if only Apple would come to the party.

But their streaming service is probably around the corner.
