Hey guys, i really need some help here pls.

This might seem a little out there but i am going to try:

Everytime i start windows (XP) i get one of those Send Error, dont send error messages and it seems its for my Windowns Explorer. It says that about three or four times everytime i start up. Sometimes it says it and i say dont send and my desktop doesnt load afterwards (ie: i just see my background)

I have tried disk repair, anti-virus, anti-spyware and disk repair but nothing seems to help.

Any suggestions please.

Thank you

Hey Luf,
Try using the Administrative Tools to identify the problem - go to Start -> Administrative Tools -> Event Viewer

Have a look through the sections for Application, System and Internet Explorer to see if anything jumps out - usually the problems are identified by red "Error"
error7.jpg
or yellow "Warning"
warning3.jpg
icons.

Have a look at any other items listed as it may be something different.

Post some of the errors here if you need more help on them.

As a general rule, if you have 3 program errors when booting or shutting down, then this should reflect in the Event Viewer as one item after the other, or within a similar time period of each other - this should allow you to find the problem easier.

Just to add, if you can't get into XP normally, then hit the F8 key when booting and go into Safe Mode - then try the above.

Another thought - did you install anything recently? Windows updates?

Thanks so much for the help mate.

Eish i am getting thousands of 'Application Errors' all the time.

Iv backup everything - i think its just time for a format.

thanks so much once again

A friend of mine had a similar problem and his secondary hard drive was failing. Once he removed it from his computer, everything was back to normal.
