What do you think of the new features?

I think it is quite cool, my only issue is how it keeps stealing focus from my other windows.

u mean Windows Live Messenger 8 Beta? its basically the same thing as MSN messenger. just a few things that are cool.

googled a bit for live desktop, and found this

Free customers would be subjected to advertising within the application, however, while subscribers would see no ads in the client

i think i'll just stick with gmail, thank you very much...

Yep, i've signed up for it. Got activated a few days ago. Too be honest, I don't use my hotmail email that much, but the new interface is very nice.

Yes i actually like the new interface very much. I also like how it underlines spelling errors like MS Word, and also the ability to right click.
