I just installed a new MSI motherboard and CPU. PC comes in and go into Bios. No matter what I do it does not want to load windows and keeps going to Bios. Any advice?

Is the HDD listed in the BIOS ? Also with windows if you change the hardware you going to have to probably re-install windows and get a new key.

Hdd is listed yes. Using same Hdd with windows already installed.

Ah, your old install is probably on an MBR scheme and / or booting with legacy BIOS, you can try setting your motherboard to that mode (or CSM), and make sure you can select and enter that disk in the first place with boot device selection.

If that is the case and it still doesn't work properly, you might have to do a fresh install under all the new paradigms.

You are correct. But the Bios settings did not allow me to go into the CSM mode. I ended up doing a fresh install. Thank you so much.

Note to all lemmings reading this thread.... when buying a new mobo check that it supports CSM......

EDIT: funny enough on my newer mobo if I disable CSM none of the HDD's show.
