Hdd is listed yes. Using same Hdd with windows already installed. Is the HDD listed in the BIOS ? Also with windows if you change the hardware you going to have to probably re-install windows and get a new key.
Ah, your old install is probably on an MBR scheme and / or booting with legacy BIOS, you can try setting your motherboard to that mode (or CSM), and make sure you can select and enter that disk in the first place with boot device selection.Hdd is listed yes. You are correct. But the Bios settings did not allow me to go into the CSM mode. I ended up doing a fresh install. Thank you so much.Ah, your old install is probably on an MBR scheme and / or booting with legacy BIOS, you can try setting your motherboard to that mode (or CSM), and make sure you can select and enter that disk in the first place with boot device selection.
If that is the case and it still doesn't work properly, you might have to do a fresh install under all the new paradigms.
