Windows Phone 10 preview

So I took the plunge and updated, enjoying it thus far.

Can Denim users confirm that "Hey Cortana" works.

Yes sounds good after changing you region to USA or UK and language to English USA or UK with the Speech to the same etc. for "Hey Cortana" to work in the RSA BUT THE DOWNSIDE is that your Store now offers apps priced in £ or $ and you forget this when purchasing apps. At current exchange rate your bank balance will take a deep dip, all just have a super "Hey Cortana".
Question is when will Ms develop "Hey Cortana" for other regions and languages like South Africa with English (South African)? Only then will "Hey Cortana" be super. I believe the iOs Siri has the same region issues.

Yep, every time I want to buy something I change regions back. Its a bit of a shlep, but given that I don't buy too often, it's ok.
 
So installed Windows 10 on my 1520 on Saturday

Must say I am impressed

Although its a technical preview, haven't had any problems besides a few reboots (when trying to access files via the new File Explorer)

The OS is fluid, no lag, the new task manager is quite nice, individual notifications can now be dismissed

I like the changes to the start screen - the tiles no longer have borders, so you can now see the full background, looks really sweet

The native email and calendar client have been reworked.
Improved functionality - all email accounts are now added here rather than in settings
I don't like the hamburger menus, hope they incorporate modern menus in the next build.

Overall, in my opinion its getting there

Sounds good. Wonder if the new email client is able to attach files from other than photo's hub in reply/forwarding emails?

Yep it does
I have tried multiple attachments of different types - included .pdf, .xlsx and .epub
It can email attachments directly from your onedrive as well

The file manager in Windows 10 is still buggy tho - may have to try a few times to open the folder that contains the attachment
This happens in most apps and not just Outlook - a work around would be just to move the file onto your root directory

Thanks,looking forward to the final release. We believe this will happen summer usa season.
 
Went back to 8.1. Biggest factor was outlook crashing on replying to rich html emails.

Can't wait for the final release.
 
Build 2015 is 28 April to 1 May. What chance that the final Windows 10 hits then.
