Windows phone 7 in depth preview.

Looks nifty, however the Facebook integration with your on-phone contacts is a definite no no.

The lack of multitasking and copy/paste is also quite a glaring omission. However the UI looks very smooth, clean, fast and user-friendly.

Actually it reminds me of the original iPhone.

It seems to be a growing smartphone trend to not have true multitasking. As far as I know, only 3rd party apps will suffer from being "paused" in the background but the rest work as per usual.

Well what I meant is it reminds me of the original iPhone, only 4 years later!

No dude. The iPhone 2G was lampooned for lacking basic functions that people felt were a given. This review if you can call it that points out several issues with the basic functionality of the interface. The iPhone was unilaterally praised in that specific area.

My point is, standards are higher now, you can't release a product with an OS on par with iPhone OS 1, it has to, at the very least have copy and paste!

It does look very slick and fast, however they should get a webkit based browser, really. I don't see it succeeding.
