Nice idea, but with only one device in the market and only from Vodacom, what will you be discussing in the forum? There are no plans to launch any other devices from what it seems, so WP7 is doomed in SA by the looks of things!
The same could have been said about the iPhone.. but I agree.

And another thing... that will just create another platform / forum where people like kingrob and the likes can have a dedicated forum to bash the WP platform or devices without them ever seen a device or worked with one.
Yes, the iPhone did [does] have its own forum but myBB is made up of Microsoft bashers and iPhone fanboys. Most people around here bash Microsoft without any merit and just because they can and/or because they see other people do it.

Well, such a sub forum can start off with a FAQ sticky compiled by those familiar with MSFT and Windows Phone. Arthur? News/developments can be another sticky. Apps another.
Not many into it now but it is worth discussing in its own area already I feel. It will pick up, especially with all the news around Nokia making that jump, and once WP7 is up and running on Nokia it will become much hotter.

I totally agree with you, but I just can not see this work on a forum like myBB where 99.99% of all users are anti Microsoft.

I don't seem to remember this being an issue when the TyTN / Diamond and such phones were the phones to have
