When using the automatic update thing in windows xp, exactly what info does one transmit to microsoft? Like when dl-ing service pack 2 or whatever, what kind of stuff can they find out about u and ur pc and ur spftware?

For example can they tell if you are using an original copy of Windows ( not that i would ever pirate...) Just wondering...
