Hey guys,

Not sure if this is a problem.

I recently installed a new PSU and when I booted windows, under system it listed my correct AMD CPU, but then it said "1.00Ghz", when its meant to be 2.2.

Anyway I've since rebooted and now it shows the correct speed again... was just wondering why it did that and if I should be worried?

Or keep your power settings as is. If the AMD CPUs work like the Intel Core-based CPUs, it should scale the frequency according to the load on the CPU. How to test - open CPUz, wait a few seconds and note the clock speed. Now run a CPU-intensive task (i.e. Prime95) and check whether the frequency has increased to the rated speed.
