Is it exactly the same as this tablet that came out some time ago overseas, for only $65 ?

At this week’s HKTDC tech show in Hong Kong, an interesting Windows tablet made an appearance sporting the hard-to-believe price tag of $65 (CNY 399). The tablet is called the Emdoor EM-I8170 ..... a 7″ 1024 x 600 pixel display.

If so, seems we're really getting screwed on pricing.
$65 x R12 (US$ exchange rate) = R780

R720 balance reasonable for duties, profit etc. ?

EDIT : sorry, but that's how I shop ; have to justify pricing

Is the $65 retail or supplier pricing? If retail they are price coughing. If supplier it's still probably too much.

I'm sure it's retail - here's a review of a similar one, if not the same specs. I watched it when the review was done, so can't remember it all, but it was positive, especially at a similar price.
