So I just did the latest updates to Windows 10 which included an Edge update. Nothing wrong with that even though I don't use Edge.
However, upon restart, you're greeted by a screen telling you Edge has been updated (didn't get a photo of it) followed by this.
And then it automagically adds itself to the quick-launch bar as well as giving you a pop telling you about it. ALSO, the quick-launch icon has a line / exclamation point above it.
It's an absolute pain.
