Windows vista sp1 stuck

Stage 2 of 3 stuck at 100% complete. Says donot turn off. How long does it take? I am sure its been a few hours now.

Vista does this sometimes.

I'd recommend just buying XP or Win7. Vista just isn't worth it in terms of raw frustration. e.g. Win7 install: 16 mins. Vista install: A couple of hours.

As to the immediate problem: Wait until your out of patience, then reset & hope nothing got screwed.

Restart your pc and try again. If you get into windows download and install this update: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...0d-dfbf-4527-806e-9a1634d0cc8e&DisplayLang=en then try and install the service pack again.
