Windows Vista SP2 Offical!

Just a Question - why put win 7 RC1 on when you have a legal version of Vista considering that it is going to expire and you will need to reinstall everything? Im confused lol

Installed SP2 on Friday and I one thing I have noticed is that my online FPS games are running a lot better, I was suffering with a lot of "chop" and it seems to have gone.

Other than that all seems business as usual.

Sigh - think I need to upgrade my line. How I long for a uncapped 4MB line. :D

As of next month i'm gonna get the Axxess uncapped deal..at least until SEACOM goes live anyways..

192kbps during the day if i reach the 10day 5gb threshold (which i will) and 4mb after that! (from 8pm onwards and on weekends!)

all uncapped :)

DL done btw :)

I downloaded it the moment I heard of it, but somehow the download ended up being corrupted. Seems to be a problem at my work, it's not the first piece of software to end up that way. I'll have to try again soon.

I've read this morning that SP2 frees up a lot of disk space, some people reported getting many gigs backs. Seems SP2 deletes old system files and restore points.

And just to repeat, SP2 needs SP1 installed first. Microsoft said the reason they broke away from the idea of one SP having everything from the previous ones is due to size. Who would want a 1.5Gb service pack download?
