Hate Windows xp, Bigest Crap on earth and have to use Lost all data again.
Windows cannot do anything and trusting Suse 10 or any other linux.
Used Linux 6 Months , Windows 1 week and lost data! Sorry got Winows legal
and sad linux happy!!!
 
If Linux was working so well why did you get Windows ?

I'm using WinXP since day one. Never lost any data. Only had 2 or 3 minor crashes in all the years (driver + codec related).

Did you have proper anti-virus & firewall programs installed when you loaded Windows XP on your computer?

Were you surfing on all the Warez web sites?

What exactly happened?

The only time I ever lost data with windows XP is when I shift deleted the wrong file, and I supose that's not realy windows fault. :)
 
Yeah, if you know how to use a computer you should never have any problems like this. I can't remember the last time i had a problem with XP.
