arrrg! the more we increase our resolutions with the intent of actually seeing more stuff the bigger they make everything!

if you release a pro version of windows 7, please leave out every pretty picture, flashy thingy, bigass windows logo, and default every folder to details view. and please dont make those widgets default

Dragging a window to the top of the screen maximizes it automatically; dragging it off the top of the screen restores it. Dragging a window to the left or right edge of the screen resizes the window so that it takes 50% of the screen.

and i think that is going to drive me insane

It looks nothing like OS X. It looks terrible actually, those rectangle start menus are just plain disgusting. Microsoft are going way overboard with all that lame transparency.

as for the icon display instead of text, that's also retarded.

Windows 7 may not change much under the hood, but the extent of these interface changes makes it clear that this is very much a major release.

*sigh*

The biggest improvement what I was hoping for was for a change "under the hood". Only an improved UI? No thanks... Guess I'll stick with XP for a while longer.
