Before you jump in & install Windows 8 over Boot Camp remember it is currently an Alpha release (ie everything can go wrong & may well do).
You may (& probably will) well knock out a few critical drivers the Mac OS requires for laptops.
Some have tried to use Boot Camp & failed, then tried to install from within the Boot Camp Windows partition - Windows 8 often then heads directly over to the Mac partition to take up occupation there - BAD BAD NEWS!
If you want to give Win8 a spin, rather create a virtual drive using VirtualBox (free) & install there. http://www.virtualbox.org/
