Windscreen replacement

I got a quote of R900 from a panelbeater to replace my windscreen. Are prices cheaper at places like PG Glass, Glassfit etc ?

Car is VW Polo 2002 model .

Should i give them a go ? What are their prices like ?

for my volvo it was almost 7k. also for the voyager.. so 900 bucks sounds good to me

Sounds like a non shatterproof w/screen and I would make sure of that first and also it might be a second hand unit which is fine if no "peppering" / chips etc
