wingnut is jolling:

Well, they divorced when I was 6.

Only found out 40 years later that he was not the hero I though he was.
Mine got separated, started divorced when I was 12/13. Only saw my dad I was awake at midnight or when they were fighting and mom was throwing all the cutlery. Remember that night. Big fight. There was a storm. Mom said we start packing. Bags in the car. Kids in car. Daddy waiving goodbye. Thunderstorm. Lightning. Bye bye treehouse. Bye bye dad.

Went to live with my grandfather for a couple of months. Grandad, my brother and myself all in a little outside room. I got the top bunk bed, so I had my little space. My belonging on the top of the cupboard where I can easily reach it. Mom got granddads room (he insisted). Sis got the spare room in the house.

Eventually mom and dad got together again. Dad lost his job. House got take by the bank (and my tree house). Dad started doing kitchen installations. They moved a lot. Farm, Town, Garage, House etc. etc. We were in many schools. I left home at 16/17....

Anyways, they were good parents. I had a good dad he never abused us. I miss him. Died of cancer. My mom was a pillar.

Dad's last couple of years was wonderful and he took well care of mom and made things right the best he could.

Mine was very similar to yours.

My crazy burnt in memory was my mom chasing my dad around the house with an axe (well he was outside and she was inside but had locked him out).

They got divorced about a year later. Mom got custody of me and my 2 year younger brother and got the house (mansion in dbn north, I think this score (1981) has carried her through life to this day)in the settlement.

We were lucky that we got to stay with Dad every second weekend.

Life was good.

Throughout my whole life I thought my dad paid for everything (school fees etc, hence my hero), but it turns out that he was very **** in paying anything, not that he couldn't afford it which is the worst part, but then again, sort of irrelevant as it only affected me when I was 45 when I saw for myself when I asked him to move in with me because he was getting too old to live on his own (classic case of don't ever meet your hero scenario), and all it took was 6 months to finally meet the real man (who ended up being a compulsive liar), not the every 2nd weekend wonder 30 years ago).

What made it worse for me was that my mom always told me the truth but I just never believed her.

To this day I have zero faith in the institution of marriage.

What makes it even sadder is that my mom is worse, she's been in loony bins at least 3 times that I can remember and is not pleasant to be around so I kinda feel like an orphan now that dad passed in feb this year.

@Smugs, your little input has made my soul feel like its invincible right now.

Are you also having to slave away at a job today?

Pretty average set, but the ending is up to my high standards as this is literally the very next number:

and another (can't wait to see how she ends this one (they're always so subtle)):

:ROFL::ROFL: could work ... but no, Saul as per your other post.

Also, give this guy a try ... a DJ that can actually mix ... that b|tch above is fake.

Thanks, will give a squizz later.

I love her because she plays my genre like nothing I've heard before.

Okay.

Haha, yeah, point taken.

I like all happy music, and this qualifies. Just too slow for me in this point in time.
