What is the official by-law of loud music times.

I always remember it as 10pm weekdays and midnight on weekends.

Apparently I'm wrong and that I must turn music down at 9pm during the wekk and 11pm on weekends.

This is durban, do cities have their own rules or to they all fall under the rule that rules them all?
