A client has an HP 450 and has enabled encryption...

Windows no longer boots and we can't access the data.

Does anyone have an idea on how I can either decrypt the drive or access the data?

You say it has SecureDoc enabled... do you have the password/key?

If not, then you are SOL...

If you do, you MIGHT have some options, but I dunno how many and how simple/complicated they might be.

I have the password to get in... Once I've put it in at the login screen, there's an error to do with Windows

You may need to build a new machine with SecureDoc and attach the drive and key to the new machine as a secondary drive.. not entirely sure..

But why not contact WinMagic support and see what they say?
