WinMX on iBurst

This is probably a really stupid question, but is there any way one can still get winmx to work on iburst? Is the speed just reduced, or is it blocked completely? I can connect, but can't download anything.

If it has been blocked from iburst side, what can I do to get my downloads done? Is there another p2p that still works? I don't think I'm going to find the downloads anywhere on HTML, so apart from email, my iburst is useless to me..

most of the good p2p apps have been throttled because they use dedicated ports, use soemthing like bittorrent
 
With Shareaza you can determine your own port, but you must enable TCP and UDP on your chosen port in your firewall.
 
it doesn't matter what your port is, it matters what the machine that serves the file's port is.. also shareaza has unique packets and is defined by every packet inpection app around, so its not hard to throttle at all.
 
OK, but if it's throttled, then that's one thing, and acceptable. But have they completely blocked WIN MX?
 
Mmm.. Must be something else wrong then.. I manage to download about 50k in 24 hours..
