Winter restaurant specials

Takumi's Early bird special is well worth it. The Kuro is quite a lot of sushi/sashimi (and generous portions at that), so go hungry.

Not sure if the half-price tapas are a winter-only special; there is also a special winter menu, which looks quite good. Tried out the half-price tapas last Tuesday. It was very good, and a decent option for sub-R250 including drinks and good tip for 2 people. It seems to be very popular and very busy, so booking in advance is highly recommended; the website booking form is monitored, so an easy way to book.
 
What are children's chopsticks? Are they just shorter and blunter so that they don't accidentally poke their eyes out?

Haven't a clue; wondered that when I saw the photo too. Maybe thick plastic ones that are attached (I picture a peg type of mechanism) at that top?
