Winter Veil hath arrived

I'm making a killing on the AH at the moment with deeprock salt for the one quest. Bought out everything on the AH this morning for between 20 and 40 silver and relisted them for 5g each. I've sold about 80 in 4 hours.

It's not that much gold but for the amount of work put in it is well worth it.
 
Sorry if this is off topic but Im thinking of playing wow again and was wondering... is there a way to know or a place to look for what prices to be selling stuff and where, what time etc. to make some extra money?
 
Whizzy my 'ol chap, could you possibly list the stuffs of this festivities here? :D

You just check the auction house for pricing on current stuff being sold there. Then price yours accordingly. To have an estimate of items without going to the AH each time, you can get addons like Auctioneer which tells you in the information popup of the item.

Does it give averages of actual item prices or just pure estimates?

It has a ****load of statistical data, so it's up to you which method to choose to price, but yes, Auctioneer does that **** for you

Other things that sell for a lot include Deviate Fish, Savory Deviate Delight, Nerubian Chitin, etc.

Got a level 16 Alliance druid (first alliance character) with 2600g simply from playing the AH...
 
I dunno I make a killing just buying gems for 10k honor, cutting them and selling them. I don't even need gold really.
 
Im sitting with about 25 cardinal ruby's in my bank, Ill sell them out over the weekend I think.
