It's time to upgrade my low power IONN fanless firewall platform, and after much searching, have decided to go the DIY route again. I am therefore looking for two or three PCIe Ethernet cards, preferably using an Intel chipset, but will consider a good Broadcom chipset, in Gauteng area. Dual and quad cards at a reasonable price will also receive consideration.

Hi

Did you get sorted on this
Have a intel quad port pci-e

I decided to go with two 2.5G cards which are Realtek, but seems to work with no issues with both PFSense and with Sophos XG. I haven't done stress testing yet, so holding thumbs. They are not supported by Sophos UTM-9 in any way, but that platform is on its way out in any case, so I am not too worried.
Thanks for reaching out, I appreciate it. I will be in touch if I end up needing an Intel card.
