We have a situation where our workplace has a wired LAN, with multiple WiFi spots, that is more than sufficient to create a well-signaled WiFi network throughout the entire office space. However, we have a small "cut-off" office in the one corner with a couple of devices. This office is about 60m from the main server area where our internet lines comes in and our main switches are located. Although we have perfect WiFi signal in this office, we do have two devices (a network printer/scanner/fax/copier) that only has a normal LAN cable connection. There are also two desktops, but their connectivity issues can be resolved by buying a PCI WiFi adapter.

My question is this: Is there some sort of switch that can be put on the WiFi, that will give us ~4 normal LAN slots for cables. I know the "best" solution will be to wire it directly from our main wired switch, but to get the cabling from there to the office will be a nightmare.

Thanks in advance

The most straightforward solution would be to buy a wireless access point with enough LAN ports, but those things are expensive and not really worth the money.

Get a wireless access point with 1 LAN connection and connect it too a switch/router.
Just make sure that every device has a IP address or that only the main router dishes them out by DHCP.

Second option: Get a wireless router that you can use in bridge mode to build a wireless bridge between 2 routers and connect the devices to the second router. That will also work out pretty good...
