I want to know if there are any corporations that use wireless kb& mouse for thiere office employees ?

I would like battery replacments is a nightmare ?

I havea couple of user's that have logitech wireless desktops here, they work great.

The microsoft wireless systems are not so great

We have Logitech for some employees. Comes with the rechargable cradle though, cutting battery costs.

I use my own KB/mouse though- Wave KB and a comfy, superfast mouse. Use the stuff all day, might as well be decent. Rechargable stuff for office use :erm: unless the okes are mobile and have a little travel mouse, batteries etc are too much admin...

I can just think of the nightmare this would cause. I'm in a call centre, maybe 400 stations. Apart from the nightmare of dead batteries, there's the nightmare of theft. Nobody wants to nick a cheap wired keyboard which has been buttoned down to the desk, but there are plenty who will nick a wireless setup.

yeah in a call centre it would be a bad idea, but we have wireless sets for the 10 - 15 scientists as they seem to like all these fancy devices :)

Crazy scientists :D
I'm taking my chances leaving my wireless KB and my Enermax Aurora at the office. Well, we have 2 buildings and it's the 2nd building that houses the dodgey employees so I think I'm fine for now. :)

haha access control :D, they lock them selves up in a little silent cacoon so they can let there "great" minds go to work

Access control don't count for naught when there's a usable latch on the door. :(

We're had a few people arrested already. The last one was actually making a return trip to fetch the second batch of 2 PCs he had selected and stacked up.
