Wireless audio streaming

I will be acquiring a laptop shortly and would like to know if it would be possible to stream audio through a marconi wireless router from my desktop pc to the new laptop?

Sure - unless the Marconi is utter crap I dont see why not. I know you can with iTunes' sharing enabled so I'm sure other software has similar functionality.
