hi all

sorry posted this somewhere else so re-posting here

the area ive recently moved to has (according to telkom) insufficient free ports for adsl and hence im without any internet connection!

so now ive got to look at the more expensive wireless options
and im totally lost here...

telkom wireless?
mtn?
iburst?
vodacom?

are they reliable?
how good are the speeds?
and are they affordable?

any useful information/advice would be highly appreciated

thanks

Have you looked at Cell C? Your area might not be covered yet, but at the moment its the cheapest so not a bad option. The other alternative to the ones you have listed is Neotel. Their dataflex 5Gb package is not bad, but it does lock you in for 24 months, which is not great.

Vodacom and MTN I still find too expensive. Would personally rather stay away from Telkom if I can and have never used iBurst, but a friend of mine had it for a long time and was very happy, not sure what its like anymore.
