Hi,

I have a Planet Access Point setup at work as a AP and a Planet Access Point setup at the house as AP Client for internet use.

It works 100%, but as soon is I plug another or more PC's in the switch at home, only one PC can connect to the AP at work at a time. They can all still see each other and also the AP client at the house, but cannot see past that AP to the AP @ the office.

My guess is obviously that one of the AP's doesn't want to allow multiple connections. I cannot find a setting that can be changed on the AP's. The MAC filtering is disabled, so all PC's should have access.

The AP @ home is plugged into the same switch than all the PC's.

I have to turn the switch off and on and unplug the other PC's, to give a specific PC access.

Please advise.

All the pc's on the same IP range and in the same workgroup?

yes, the ip range, subnet, gateway and dns is the same,

what should the gateway and DNS be? i used the adsl router at the office as both, should the gateway perhaps be the local or remote AP? and the DNS the router?

Is the one switch plugged into the router? Gateway and DNS should be the routers ip

the router and main AP is plugged into the switch at work. The ap client and all pc's at home is plugged into switch at home.

at the office and house, all pc's use the adsl router ip as gateway and dns.

The switch and AP must be plugged into the router at work

the AP and Router is plugged into the switch at work, the Router only has 1 network port.

also, except from the router/internet, all the PC's at the house can connect to the AP client, but none, except one can connect/see the main AP at work.

Thus, either the AP client blocks the PC's to get past or the main AP only allow one pc through the AP client to connect......?

My guess is, it is a setting on the main AP or client AP....

Anyone........no ideas..............any other forums you maybe know where I could post a thread regarding networking issues?
