Well I dont need anyones help i just thought i would put this out there so people dont have to struggle like i did to fix this problem.

I just recently bought a GX 700 laptop I know I know and thank you:cool:. I make love to it every nyt. anyway the wirless lan kept disconnecting and reconnecting and after hunting round on the internet and getting all kinds of answers like windows xp security was causing it and stuff like cordless headsets making the stuff disconnecting and reconnecting i decided to go scratching in the drivers:eek:. I went to Control panel and clicked system and when properties on my wifi lan card. In there things were intersting. Turns out the wifi card power and signal strength is influenced by the signal so i set 3 things.
1.There was a roming option that i set to low(this is the wifi card looking for other ap for better strength signal i only have one so i dont want it looking for that other ap that doesn't exist)
2.I set the power usage to max.SO full power all the time.(this will influence battery life im not sure how badly but atleest you can work)
3.I set signal strength to full.( yip i broadcast to planet x now.)

So basicaly i just turned off all power saving things and told it not to look anywere els for signal except were i tell it to get signal from.

This took me 3 days to find and thought i should put it on the net so that people that do a dam good search can atleest find an answer.

Hope i helped
