Hi, I have a set of bone conducting headphones which I find great for running etc.

The set I have (Aftershokz AS450 Sportz) are not wireless but you do get.

Why I recommend?

Firstly, they wrap around your head so do not fall out constantly like normal ones. Also very comfortable, I completely forget they are on after a minute.
Second, because they not in your ear you can still hear fairly well for traffic noises etc
Third, they allow your ear to breath, mine used to get very sweaty.

Sound is still decent for exercise, obviously not as good as normal ones but certainly acceptable.

Hope that helps.
Cheers

I have a pair of these - http://www.cameraland.co.za/body-glove-b-active-wireless-sport-earbuds-black

I wanted to use them daily on my mac instead of plugging in headphones.

They work well but I can't use them daily as the battery doesn't last an entire work day.

I assume for gym / cycling they will work well

They are priced pretty well in comparison to other pairs I have seen
I bought a set yesterday... Battery died before an hour. Testing again now. How long do yours last?

I was about to ask, the site says 180 hours of standby time. but there is basically no battery anywhere, so HTF?

I got it at incredible, so planning to return today depending how long they take to run flat

These look nice. How is the sound and comfort?

Sound is decent, you can still hear background noises so not closed off completely , I use them for running as well and can hear cars approaching if music not too loud.
Bluetooth works well with my iPhone , I read the reviews before I bought them years back and reviews where very good.
Comfort wise they fit me perfectly, no ear pain like my sennheisers sometimes give after long periods of listening.

Battery charges quickly and lasts a long time, theres a battery indicator on phone thats shows you the charge left etc, also a voice that informs you of the power when you press power button.

Last year they came on special for R699, I was very tempted to buy a second pair.

I have a pair of Denon Exercise Freaks. Battery lasts about 3 hours. Headphones are very light
You have to wear an armband though, the bluetooth signal gets sketchy when my phone is in my pocket.

I also have a pair of Samsung Gear Circles.
Battery lasts a long, long time. Phone can go in pocket but the headphones themselves are heavier.

I went through quite a few and currently using samsung gear circle. Awesome sound, good battery life and the hard neck strap sits nicely on your neck avoiding the irritating bouncing of the wire at the back, especially during running. Alternatively you wont go wrong with Beats, especially the awesome bass quality much needed to get that extra energy drive, but be prepared to $$$

Whatever you do, do not get Jaybird - they are not sweat proof and I have gone through 5 sets within a few months and eventually gave up. Local Jaybird distributor is also a complete joke when it comes to RMA (Jaybird has a lifetime warranty and the local guys treat you like criminals when asking for a RMA unit).

Gear circle available locally?

I have Sennheiser MM 400 x bluetooth headphones. Very comfortable on ear phones that stay on nicely and have a great battery life. Nice clear sound too.
