Wireless Gaming headset advice

So for about 6 years I owned a set of Logitech G35s. I have loved them headset since the day they arrived and it would still be perfect had my housekeeper not dropped them and broken the joints. Everything still works but after applying some glue and patience they are just not comfortable any more. So time for a new pair.

Right now I have two options.
1. Logitech G930 Wireless headset
2. Corsair Void Wireless headset

I have a friend who will be in the US for a couple of weeks and he could possibly pick up a pair while there. The price difference makes it worth giving up the local warranty and currently on Amazon the are $10 different. (Logitech are $89 and Corsair $99).

I have read various reviews on both and the battery life on the Logitechs do not seem to be great while the Corsair's shape apparently takes some getting used to. Most of the reviews seem to have mixed feelings so I haven't been able to decide.

Does any one have any experience with these headsets? Are there others worth looking at?

I'd take the Logitech.

I've got one of the non-gaming Logitechs & its been great thus far.

Don't worry about battery life...you're not supposed to be gaming 10 hrs non-stop anyway

I had the same problem a couple of years ago, also loving my G35's (Bought 2 pairs because they are awesome) and then later decided to go with the G930's.

Although the comfort and quality of the headset is amazing and they will definitely match your G35's in terms of awesome, that tends to be an issue a month or so in. I had massive battery problems and would find myself plugging in the headset while gaming just to keep it charged. Some days a 4 hour gaming session would be a big ask for this headset.

I spoke to logitech about it and their reply was basically, Its a battery, what did you think was going to happen.

Ive had multiple wireless gamign perephirals in the past and they are awesome, but nothing comes close to wired.

This is my opinion and if you decide to go with the headset you will definitely love it, just keep in mind wireless and gaming does not go in the same sentence.

I use a wireless mouse and keyboard for gaming as it is and a wireless headset would be great. Wireless and gaming works really well for me this far.

The Corsairs according to one reviews get about 10 hours of gaming though it is rated 15.
