anyone using wireless HDMI devices to distribute DSTV or media to TVs around the house instead of getting an av guy to run cables?

if so? what is the quality like and reliability?

You can get a microsoft wireless hdmi dongle. Plugs in via hdmi and usb to a tv, then from windows 8 or android you can mirror cast to it. Its quite expensive at around a grand.
