Hi Guys!

I have a client with the following request:

- He has a wedding venue and wants to supply free wifi to all his guests.
- When a guest connects onto the network (which has to be protected using WPA2) the guest has to be redirected to a landing page.
- After the guest logs his mobile number, he then receives an SMS with a "token" of some sorts, or another pass phrase or key that allows him access onto the internet.
- Daily transfer limits has to be set per guest (MAC) of X amount of bytes per time period (daily or hourly etc)

A few things to consider:

- I can create the landing page, SMS sending, cellnumber capturing etc etc
- We can use any technology, like Ubiquiti, Mikrotik, whatever, does not matter

Are there out of the box solutions for this, and if so what can we use or are we going to have to build him some custom solution?

Thanks a mil for your responses.

Fixx,

Check radius manager 4 it has sms sending feature, payment gateway and all those limits you require.

We use radius manager 4 too, it does the job although leaves quite a lot to be desired. You'll get the job done with it though. PM me for any questions/advice, might be able to help out.

I've sent you PM regarding the equipment

Hi There,
Radius manager will work for you.
Cisco also has solutions that are used in a number of organisations such as Airports company (always on)

Regards

Tim
