wireless in Hout Bay for 4 months

hi all,
i will be in hout bay for 4 months, i need connection, but i do not want to pay for an adsl line, or for a 24 months contract for wireless.
what are my options? i also would prefer not to have to buy an expensive modem as offered by sentech on the month to month contract.

or.. is there a reliable wifi point in hout bay? could that be an alternative? i just need to check emails a couiple of times a day...
